CMG-100G: Crowd Management Course

CMG-100G is the Eight Point Solutions Crowd Management Course, a 4-hour online course for employees, managers, ushers, event volunteers, hospitality teams, teachers, and church or community staff who help people move through shared spaces. Delivered self-paced on the EPS Portal from Lanham, Maryland, the course trains you to notice crowd density and restricted movement, identify bottlenecks and merging flows, support a planned queue, report admission delays, communicate approved entry holds, watch the space inside the venue, request a show stop through the event plan, support orderly departure, and record what you observed. You use clear directions and approved routes within your assignment; security and trained response teams handle enforcement and rescue. Content draws on NFPA 101 and International Fire Code crowd manager requirements, Event Safety Alliance show stop practice, International Association of Venue Managers practice, and ASIS International guidance as context for working with venue security. Tuition is $25.00 and is not refundable. The official CMG-100G Course Syllabus, Version 1.0 is included in Module 1. Five modules cover the crowd manager and the crowd, reading a crowd, ingress and the queue, managing the crowd inside the venue, and egress, incidents, and the record. Completion requires all five modules, every 30-item module quiz passed at 80 percent or higher with unlimited attempts, the 50-item final examination passed at 90 percent or higher within two attempts, and the ten-item course sign-off. The EPS Crowd Management Certification is serial-numbered, recorded in the EPS registry, verifiable through the EPS Portal, and valid for two years. Renewal requires completing the current version at the published tuition. The credential documents EPS training. It is not a license, a medical license, a first aid or CPR card, a state alcohol certification, or a fire marshal's approved crowd manager certificate unless the responsible authority accepts it in writing. It does not replace employer policy or the emergency plan or authorize ejection, detention, searches, taking property, or force. CMG-100G is governed by EPS-DIR-001 and the CMG-100G Course Syllabus, Version 1.0. The related EEV-100G course covers emergency evacuation. Samuel Romanzo, Training Director. Kawika Rogers, Managing Partner.
