EEV-100G: Emergency Evacuation Course
EEV-100G is the Eight Point Solutions Emergency Evacuation Course, a 4-hour online course for employees, managers, front desk and hospitality staff, teachers, community volunteers, and office floor wardens whose workplace plan assigns evacuation responsibilities. Delivered self-paced on the EPS Portal from Lanham, Maryland, the course trains you to follow the emergency action plan, report an alarm or hazard promptly, communicate the protective action and a safe route, direct people from a safe assigned position, request planned assistance for people who cannot use stairs, make only assigned safe checks while leaving, account for people at the assembly point, support shelter or lockdown, follow the authorized all-clear, and write the report. Content draws on OSHA emergency action plan and exit route rules in 29 CFR 1910.36 through 1910.38, NFPA 101 means of egress, ADA Title III accessibility principles, and the site's approved emergency plan. Tuition is $25.00 and is not refundable. The official EEV-100G Course Syllabus, Version 1.0 is included in Module 1. Five modules cover the evacuation and your role, the alarm, the decision, and the announcement, running the exits, the sweep, the count, and the people the count has to find, and shelter, lockdown, re-entry, and the record. Completion requires all five modules, every 30-item module quiz passed at 80 percent or higher with unlimited attempts, the 50-item final examination passed at 90 percent or higher within two attempts, and the ten-item course sign-off. The EPS Emergency Evacuation Certification is serial-numbered, recorded in the EPS registry, verifiable through the EPS Portal, and valid for two years. Renewal requires completing the current version at the published tuition. The credential documents EPS training. It is not a license, medical license, first aid or CPR card, fire marshal's certificate, firefighting qualification, or state alcohol certification; it does not replace the site plan or authorize enforcement, force, or entry into hazardous spaces. EEV-100G is governed by EPS-DIR-001 and the EEV-100G Course Syllabus, Version 1.0. The related CMG-100G course covers crowd management. Samuel Romanzo, Training Director.
