Introduction to the Security Officer Role and Professional Expectations

This course introduces the role of the security officer and the professional expectations that come with it. Learners are shown what the position exists to do, where its authority begins and ends, and the standards of conduct, appearance, communication, and reliability that clients and supervisors expect on every shift. The course pairs the EPS lesson with an International Foundation for Protection Officers introduction to the profession, reinforcing that professionalism is the baseline for everything else a security officer is trained to do.
