Job Description

The United States Marine Corps is seeking motivated individuals who want more than an ordinary job. As an active-duty Marine, you will receive professional training, develop leadership skills, and serve alongside a team committed to accomplishing missions around the world.

The Marine Corps offers career opportunities across aviation, engineering, communications, cybersecurity, intelligence, logistics, administration, law enforcement, mechanics, and many other occupational fields. Available programs are based on individual qualifications and the needs of the Marine Corps.

Responsibilities

  • Successfully complete Marine Corps Recruit Training

  • Maintain established physical-fitness and readiness standards

  • Complete specialized training for an assigned occupational field

  • Perform assigned duties professionally and effectively

  • Work as part of a disciplined, mission-focused team

  • Demonstrate leadership, accountability, and sound judgment

  • Remain prepared for assignments, training exercises, and deployments

  • Uphold the Marine Corps’ core values of Honor, Courage, and Commitment

Requirements

  • Meet applicable age, education, citizenship, and residency requirements

  • Possess a high school diploma or qualifying equivalent

  • Complete the Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery

  • Meet established medical and physical-fitness standards

  • Satisfy the Marine Corps’ moral and legal eligibility requirements

  • Successfully complete all required screening and enlistment processing

  • Be willing to serve on active duty and relocate as required
