this job posting is for reliable current LAWW Security Services employees that are active Special Police Officers/Guards - Armed and Unarmed to patrol and monitor commercial, residential, and institutional sites. These professionals help deter incidents and respond to potential security threats.

Duties:

• Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to maintain security of the premises.

• Conduct regular patrols of the facility to deter and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.

• Operate surveillance equipment such as CCTV systems to monitor activities within the premises.

• Respond promptly to alarms or emergency situations, providing first aid or CPR when necessary.

• Enforce company policies regarding loss prevention and conflict management.

• Prepare detailed reports on incidents, observations, and activities during shifts.

• Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.

• Maintain knowledge of emergency procedures and assist in drills or training sessions.

• Conduct routine patrols and monitor access points

• Report suspicious activity or safety concerns

• Maintain detailed logs and incident reports

• Ensure compliance with site-specific post orders

• Provide a visible deterrent and safety presence

Qualifications:

Candidates should be a current employee of LAWW Security Services with an Active Special Police Officer License.

Candidate should possess relevant experience in security or law enforcement. Preferred qualifications include.

Must have an Active Special Police Officer License

• High school diploma or GED

• Must be 21 years or older

• Prior security experience preferred but not required

• Strong observation and communication skills

• Professional conduct and integrity

• Certification in First Aid and CPR.

• Experience with loss prevention strategies.

• Familiarity with surveillance systems (CCTV) and monitoring techniques.

• A background in military or law enforcement is advantageous but not mandatory.
