Mechatronics Engieer

Actively looking for Mechatronics Engineer on contract basis here in Hopkinton, MA

Position: Mechatronics Engineer 1 
Location: Hopkinton, MA (Travel between Boston and Hopkinton sites required)
Duration: 3+ Months

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and test integrated mechatronic systems and components.

• Develop control systems and automation algorithms for equipment.

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and maintain electromechanical systems.

• Work closely with cross-functional engineering teams to implement technical solutions.

• Prepare engineering documentation, design records, and test reports.

• Travel between the Boston and Hopkinton facilities as required.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, or a related Engineering discipline.

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Mechatronics Engineer.

• Strong experience with integrated electromechanical systems.

• Hands-on experience with CAD software for mechanical design.

• Experience with PLC programming and control system design.

• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
